This pretty fortified medieval town lies some 20 km from the Emerald Coast , not far from Saint Malò. It’s an old village with characteristic slate-roofed houses with beams in sight, protected by sturdy bastions and a majestic rock. A visit of this town is like travelling through time.

We suggest to visit the typical cobbled streets and admire the original houses magnificently restored and placed one next to the other. Don’t miss the superb view from the bastions of the "Dinan Castle", placed on top of a hill overlooking the river Rance. Inside the castle there is a museum illustrating the town history, with a description of local craftsmanship.
